The new ZEUS POWER ZXR800/8DSP is more than just a DSP amplifier. With its numerous channels, it offers either a powerful, complete sound solution or serves as an intelligent control center for a customized and complex high-end sound system.

The special feature of a DSP amplifier is its dual function: it combines two devices in one housing. However, with most of these combination solutions, certain DSP channels are permanently assigned to specific amplifier channels, while the number of freely configurable outputs is usually limited. HiFonics takes a more innovative approach with the ZXR800/8DSP: the integrated 10-channel DSP can not only be used internally but also operated completely externally – just as if you had purchased a standalone DSP. This gives you complete flexibility to use 2, 4, 6, 8, or even all 10 channels for external amplifiers. This concept allows for modular expansion of your sound system in several stages – not just as an option, but as a fundamental principle of the HiFonics philosophy.

If you initially only use the internal amplifier channels, 8 x 50 watts RMS already offer a wide range of applications, even for fully active 2-way front and rear systems. Should you later add a powerful subwoofer with an external amplifier – no problem: Thanks to the 10-channel DSP, even when all 8 internal channels are in use, 2 outputs are still available on the DSP, ideally suited for driving a monoblock amplifier. Thanks to the MX-Connect® interface, the ZXR800/8DSP can also be easily connected directly to your car radio via plug-and-play using vehicle-specific adapter cables.

The absolute highlight is the integrated 10-channel DSP, which allows you to correct any acoustic irregularities for each channel individually using the 31-band parametric equalizer with adjustable time alignment. This allows me, as the driver, to position myself perfectly in the center of the music and enjoy an optimal sound experience. Programming is done either via PC or conveniently using our DSP MASTER app on your smartphone. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth receiver, music streaming is also seamless – for an even more immersive audio experience.

With the optional HF-DMC remote control, you can not only conveniently adjust the subwoofer volume and master volume, select input sources and saved settings, but also control the currently playing track.
