Hifonics HF-RC1

Want to control the bass level conveniently from the driver’s seat? Not all amplifiers offer this luxury. That’s why HiFonics offers the HF-RC1, a universal retrofit solution that’s compatible with virtually all amplifiers with RCA inputs.

The input RCA cable is an extra-long 1.2 meters, allowing for direct connection behind the car radio without the need for an additional cable. Depending on the amplifier’s installation location, the output can be connected directly to the amplifier’s input or extended using the included RCA coupler and an optional RCA cable.

There are several ways to install the control. Perhaps the cleanest and most elegant solution: Drill a small hole in a suitable spot in the vehicle where there’s space behind it and nothing will be damaged. Insert the level control shaft through the opening, tighten the lock nut, and attach the remote knob—done. Now only the small knob is visible. A surface-mount bracket is also included if this option isn’t suitable.
