Anyone wanting to enjoy invisible bass in their vehicle opts for so-called active under-seat subwoofers. However, if there’s no space under the seats, the only alternative installation option is in the trunk. For space reasons, a spare tire well is often considered. The advantage here, compared to conventional Class A/B amplifiers, is the minimal heat generation, as very little energy loss needs to be converted into heat. With a true 125 watts RMS output, it’s very powerful. The aluminum cone it drives perfectly converts this power into sound pressure. The result is a tight and powerful bass.
