Powerful TITAN component systems have a long tradition in the HiFonics loudspeaker range. Their exceptional sound quality and durability have always been particularly valued, further enhanced by their outstanding price-performance ratio. However, even in the world of audio technology, stagnation is not an option. Therefore, HiFonics developers have given the models a complete overhaul and combined them with innovative materials. The result is a sound that not only retains the audiophile charm of the Titan loudspeakers but surpasses it in many details.
A significant contribution to the improved sound of the new TITAN TRX loudspeakers comes from the newly implemented composite diaphragms made of a mica/paper mixture, which have proven sonically superior to previous diaphragms in numerous listening tests. Thanks to the ultra-lightweight, highly stable, and excellently damped mica diaphragm composition, both bass and midrange frequencies are always reproduced precisely and powerfully, and distortion is minimized. The sound remains consistently neutral, clear, and balanced. This ensures that every piece of music is reproduced in its full detail and dynamic range.
Both TRX systems are equipped with high-quality crossovers that not only ensure precise separation of the tweeters and mid-bass drivers, but also feature a 3-stage tweeter level adjustment for optimal sound tuning.
The new 25 mm TITAN TRX tweeter, also available separately in pairs, is now significantly more compact! Its outer diameter is now only 49 mm instead of 61 mm; the mounting diameter is only 44 mm instead of 53 mm. With its shallow design and mounting depth of just 9 mm, it fits easily into many factory speaker locations. If there is no factory mounting location for the tweeter in the vehicle, the included surface-mount housing can be used.
The new tweeter is also available in a separate enclosure.
