The ZEUS 2-way 16.5 cm component system ZX6.2C was awarded test winner in the top class by the specialist magazine Car&Hifi 1/2019 for its outstanding performance. The honeycomb composite cones and neodymium tweeters, now also used in the ZEUS ZS systems, contribute significantly to the excellent sound reproduction. The three variants of the test-winning ZX6.2C are available in basket sizes of 16.5, 13, and 10 cm. In addition to the high-quality sandwich cone from the ZX series, the same high-power voice coils are used, which are even more generously sized at 30 mm in the 16.5 cm flagship model ZS6.2E. All ZEUS ZS component speakers are equipped with removable magnet boots and are supplied in pairs with a perforated metal grille set.
These three variants of the ZX6.2C are available in basket sizes of 16.5, 13, and 10 cm. Another highlight of the ZS systems is the 25 mm ZX6.2T fabric tweeter with coupling volume. This tweeter, already familiar from the award-winning ZX6.2C set, doesn’t require the usual complex and large crossover – its low resonant frequency, combined with the honeycomb speakers, allows for the use of an easy-to-install 12dB in-line crossover. The result is a superb sound that will delight even discerning music lovers.
