Classic ZEUS amplifiers were traditionally analog and imposing. The large ZEUS amps are still revered by car audio enthusiasts worldwide, but the downside of such behemoths is their considerable size and space requirement in the vehicle.
For this reason, HiFonics engineers opted for advanced digital power when designing the new ZEUS STREET ZXS amplifiers, enabling ultra-compact heatsink dimensions. This is primarily achieved thanks to modern Class D technology, which, due to its extremely high efficiency, requires significantly less power (around 90%) than comparable analog amplifiers. Another advantage is that power supply cables don’t need to be as thick.
Small doesn’t mean flimsy, though: From the moment you unpack them, you realize you’re dealing with genuine ZEUS amps. Despite their compact size, the models have a satisfying weight in the hand and convey a solid feel, in keeping with the familiar HiFonics quality. Recessed aluminum logo badges, meticulously milled model numbers, and refined die-cast aluminum end caps visually convey a unique symbiosis of power and elegance emanating from these amplifiers.
Naturally, all ZXS models feature adjustable crossovers and the latest features, such as an automatic power-on function, essential for integration with modern vehicle electrical systems. The high-level inputs are equipped with advanced EPS® technology to suppress error messages in vehicle diagnostic systems. Low-emission HiFonics IFT digital technology ensures uninterrupted radio reception.
